Nutritional Information For Friend With Stage 3b Lung Cancer?

My friend was diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer. The Doctors are in the process of determining what treatment would work best, this treatment should start in 2 weeks. I wanted to know if there are specific foods that can keep her strong prior to starting treatment, and then for recovery. Thx!

My Step-Father was recently told he had Lung Cancer. Waiting on test results to find out what type. Drs. recently told my Mom he is in stage 4. My question is-What exactly is stage 4? And – How much longer does he have because Drs. don’t believe it can be cured due to the severeness of it? He is in his 70’s. Any info will be appreciated. Also, if you have a smart comment on this don’t bother- this is a very touchy situation for me. Thanks.

my grandma has stage 4 lung cancer.
She had brain cancer to but they got all the cancer out of her brain
the operation was 2 days ago and it was successful now she has lung cancer stage four. it either spread from the lung to the brain or the brain to the lung but i reckon it was from the lung to the brain
the thing is stage four is the worst but today we questioned the doctor if she is gonna die ..his response shocked us he said no tyour gonnab e fine tomorrow where gonna find out if the cancer the spread bc they found other spots but they said ti could juss be scars or plaque from smoking
does anyone know whats going on ?

One of my very close relatives was diagnosed to have kidney cancer on September last year. She underwent a surgery, which reportedly went very well. But, she went back to re-check this summer and was detected that the cancer has spreaded over both of her lungs. Since this September, she has been taking a medication named Gefitinib, which is supposed to be the only effective drug against lung cancer as of today.
But I would really want to know what is her real chance of surviving from the lung cancer.
